Abstract

This research discusses El Nasr Port. Mobile crossing is a type of transport used to cross the Suez Canal to transport passengers and goods. ​​Implementing the port, made by Egypt, for civilian use in Port Said was the first of its kind worldwide. The purpose of this study is to identify the date of the establishment of the water crossings and its emergence in Port Said City, to identify the factors influencing the movement in the crossing and its operating mechanisms, to state the characteristics of the axes leading to the crossing, and to highlight the role of Al-Nasr crossing in the transfer of traffic from Port Said to Port Fouad, and vice versa. Moreover, the study will show the characteristics of the passers-by of the Victory Crossing in the province of Port Said, and to show the most important problems of the Crossing and of the passers-by. The research is divided into eight elements, preceded by an introduction, and followed by a research plan. After the analysis, the research reached a set of results and recommendations that would be of benefit in the development and modernization of the crossing in the future.
