Egypt’s “Vision 2030” is a medium-and-long term national social and economic development plan made by the Egyptian government in which the strategic role played by education in the country’s development is stressed. Egypt’s “Vision 2030” has put forward some strategic development goals in terms of improving the evaluation, quality, justice, supply and input of education. An interpretation and analysis of the realistic background, the basic contents and characteristics of the education development strategy in Egypt’s “Vision 2030” helps to promote further educational and cultural exchange and cooperation between China and Egypt advocated by “the Road and the Belt” initiative.
