Abstract

This study aims to investigate the foreign policy responses of Jordan towards Israeli invasion on Gaza Strip in 2008 on the official level. The daily Jordanian Newspaper is the main source for recording the responses. The study included an introduction to Gaza Strip, its historical relations with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the reasons that led to the conflict between Israel and the government of Gaza.
The main focus of the study was the official Jordanian role represented by the royal palace, the ministries and the parliament, to support the Palestinian people. This study also showed how the Jordanian and Arab led to the launch of the United Nations Resolution 1860 that ordered the immediate cease of military operations and the beginning of political solution.
