Abstract

This research deals with the shared cultural and civilizational values between the People's Republic of China and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, due to the importance of these values in consolidating the relationship between the two peoples and creating opportunities to establish more relations and partnerships in various fields. Both countries have a long history of cultural and civilizational relations throughout the ages, and that history was accompanied by two ancient languages that contained aesthetics and secrets that their people were proud of, and they have withstood Westernization throughout history. The peoples of both countries have poetic memories since time immemorial, and there was also attention to prose, but it did not reach the level of attention given to poetry except in the modern era. Among the common values in the two cultures is the care for calligraphy and the artistry of its aesthetics. The two peoples also preserved their religion, rituals and rites, and cared for the spiritual aspects. They also cared for myths and folk literature, which became part of their culture and ways of thinking. The two peoples opened up to the literature and civilizations of other nations, which affected their development and the spread of their culture and civilization.
