Abstract

The research studies the critical vision of the poets of the Renaissance period and the connection between their poetry and the Egyptian heritage of Arabic literature. The research aims to reveal the extension of the Egyptian tributary - represented by the literature of Islamic Egypt - in shaping the personality of poets regardless of their literary status. It also aims to push back opinions that are rooted in weakness. They have poetry because of its Albadi types and craftsmanship, It aims also to highlight and study the marginalized in Egyptian culture in the Renaissance era.
Therefore, the research discussed the literary opinions that were expressed about Renaissance poets and found the significance of the statement of weakness absent from one group and present from another group. It studied both opinions using the methods of modern criticism, textual studies, and analysis of some texts of the period and came up with results, the most important of which are:
The Egyptian tributary extends and is associated with the characteristics of the Egyptian literary personality, including “the Badi” among most famous and obscure Renaissance poets. And we can crystallize the critical view of the Badi heritage from theoretical study and methodological vision in several paths according to the different chronological stages, and we can present a proposal for textual analysis to reveal the criteria. A new technique for the text in Arabic literature, especially Egyptian literature.
