Abstract

The strategic perspective of the applications of the Rush model for the admission of sixth-grade students in King Abdullah II schools in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan
The study aimed to build a strategic perspective for the applications of the Rush Model to accept sixth grade students in King Abdullah II schools in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The descriptive analytical approach was used in the study . Where a test was built to accept sixth-grade students in the King Abdullah School for Excellence, and the study followed the analytical descriptive approach, where the test in its final form consisted of (55) paragraphs that measure the abilities and cognitive and basic skills of the gifted. Exploratory outside the original study sample, where the sample consisted of (283) male and female students admitted to the schools of excellence in the academic year (2020-2021), and the data on the responses of individuals to the paragraphs were analyzed, using statistical programs (spss, R330, Ministep, Bilogmg3). The study reached to check the indicators of good conformity for the members of the study sample, where the ability of each of the sample members was determined, and the standard error was calculated in measuring the ability of the sample members, and it was found that (38) members of the study sample did not match the model, The assumption of one-dimensionality and positional independence was also confirmed Freedom from speed in performance and the assumption of low guesswork and equal discrimination coefficients.
