Abstract

The main idea of the study starts from the existence of a hypothesis and a relationship between the increase in the number of people infected with the Covid-19 pandemic (the emerging corona virus) and the population crowding in urban areas, especially residential ones, especially in cities, and the study starts through the data collected on the number of infected people in the city of Qanater al-Khyria since The beginning of the pandemic in the winter of 2020, which was distributed to various areas of the city, those areas that were classified into planned, unplanned and open urban areas (green areas) west and east of the city, Different possibilities of spatial variance for the distribution of the injured were addressed according to both the population size and the urban master plan, and the study ended with making a sum of the quantitative and spatial variance of the distribution of the injured in the city using both GIS and statistical analysis programs.
