Warnings about Waqf Al-Bayan in the Noble Qur’an

Abstract

The research aims at a critical review of one of the contemporary studies dealing with the juncture and the beginning in the Noble Qur’an, and its title (Waqf Al-Bayan in the Noble Qur’an: A Terminological Study).
And the study of the teacher of food science and technology at Damanhour University in Egypt, Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Jalil Rosan, who published his study in the thirteenth issue of the ninth year of the Journal of Qur’anic Research and Studies at the King Fahd Academy for the Printing of the Noble Qur’an in Saudi Arabia in 2014.
The research consists of an introduction and four chapters. The introduction deals with the objective of the research, previous studies on it, the scientific method followed, and the contents of the research.
The first chapter is entitled: About the definition of waqf al-bayan, its functions, and the scholars’ use of it.
The second chapter is entitled: The attribution of texts and their change. the third chapter is entitled: Spelling errors and adjusting letters, semantics, and style.
and the fourth chapter is entitled: Criticism of sources and references.
These chapters are followed by the conclusion and recommendations of the most important results reached by the research, then some sources and references for the research.
