Abstract

Cairo University (1925-2025), one hundred years of educational and research achievement, and intellectual enlightenment. This study sheds the light on part of the history of the Faculty Board, through a collection of invitations, agendas and minutes documents, during the period from October 2ND, 1938 to July 7TH, 1941, in Arabic and French, preserved in the archives and Electronic Memory Unit. Here we present an inventory of the dates and venue of the Faculty Board, specifying the names of the board members, who joined during this period. A detailed presentation of the discussions and decisions of the board members to nurture the educational process of the undergraduate students in different departments and postgraduate studies affairs, faculty members and scientific research from 1938 to 1941. The study also includes the publication of this collection of invitations and agendas and minutes of the Board of the Faculty, along with displaying the board minutes written in French, as well as a plaque for the Faculty board first invitation in Arabic and French. The study was based on both the survey and descriptive method.
