The study also found that the Egyptian Revolution of 1952 had a direct impact on foreign investments when the Egyptian government egyptianized the company in 1958, issued a law to nationalize it in July 1961, and then converted it into an Egyptian joint stock company.

The study relies mainly on documents such as the notebooks and documents of the Sunni authorities, Turkish and Arab, the minutes of the municipal and administrative commission sessions, the municipal commission of the city of Alexandria, the documents of the Alexandria governorate, and the reports and statistics of the joint-stock companies in Egypt.
