The research studies examples of this phenomenon in Al-Mutanabbi’s poetry by examining the opinions of his poetry’s collection explainers, following their interpretations of the inhabitants of silence for the middle letter of the word in his poetry, and monitoring their agreement or differences in explaining the phenomenon. It should be noted that the annotations selected as a sample for the research are: Al-Fasr by Ibn Jenni, Mo'ugez Ahmad to Abu Al-Ala Al-Maari, Sharh Al-Wahidi to Al-Wahidi, and Al-Tibian in Sharh Al-Diwan to Abu Al-Baqa'a Al-Ukbari.
