Coexistence mechanisms as a mediating variable for the relationship between exposure to images of abuse and future anxiety among underage divorced women A Comparative Study between Rural and Urban

The aim of the current research is to identify the coexistence mechanisms used by underage divorced women in facing the problems they have been exposed to, by focusing on the relationship between these mechanisms and future anxiety and the role of coexistence mechanisms as a mediating variable for the relationship between the images of abuse that girls are exposed to and their future anxiety, (72) of the underage divorced women who have gone to some social care centers in the countryside and urban areas, so the urban sample consisted of (33) girls, (14) distributed from the (Bait Al Qaseerat in Ain Shams) center, (19) girls from the (Qaryat al Amal) center, as well as The rural sample consisted of (39) girls, (15) girls from the (Tamouh) center, and (24) girls from (Al-Azizia) center. The case study guide was also applied to a number of cases consisting of (4) girls, and the researcher used the Descriptive approach "correlational-comparative", based on the following tools: the coexistence mechanisms scale, the future anxiety scale, also, "case study" applied to girls, "interview" with some of the centers' employees. Among the most prominent results of the research are the existence of an inverse correlation between the mechanisms of Positive coexistence that girls use and a low level of anxiety about the future, as well as having a fundamental effect of the coexistence mechanisms variable as a mediating variable in the relationship between forms of abuse represented in (circumcision - parental violence - husbands violence - bargain marriage - incest) that underage divorced women were subjected to and future anxiety, in addition to the absence of statistically significant differences between divorced women residing in the countryside or Urban in both exposure to images of abuse, anxiety in the future, as well as their use of methods of coexistence, and the research also recommended the necessity of conducting counseling programs for newly divorced women to help them overcome the trauma of divorce at this age through training on the use of forward-looking and positive coexistence methods to achieve their psychological compatibility.
