This research addresses the field of colors in Arabic and their morphological and lexical meaning. The aim is to achieve the semantic relations that connect the terms of this field, and how they are presented in the Arabic language and dictionaries. Based on the linguistic analysis, the study attempts to examine whether this field is a lexical field or a grammatical one. Moreover, it analyzes the semantic features of the terms and how they are dealt with in modern linguistic methods.
