The study aimed to reveal The Effectiveness of a program based on gentle teaching to reduce Academic Procrastination among a sample of middle school students for under achievement, and its follow-up effect, And it relied on the semi-experimental approach, and the study sample consisted of (64) male and female students with academic Procrastination who were under achievement of middle school students from Rifai Al-Tahtawi Joint Preparatory School in Helwan, and their ages ranged from (12-15) years, with an average age of (13.6) and deviation standard (0.80); Divided into (32) experimental groups (15 males and 15 females) and the same as a control group, the sample was chosen by the intentional method, and The researcher designed the sessions of the proposed program based on gentle teaching (prepared by the researcher), the Academic Procrastination scale (prepared by the researcher), and Raven's colored progressive matrices test were used. (Emad Hassan, 2020),The results resulted in a statistically significant difference at the significance level (0.01) between the average scores of the experimental and control group in the post-measurement of the Academic Procrastination scale in the direction of the experimental group, and a statistically significant difference at the significance level (0.01) between the average scores of the experimental group in the pre- and post-measurements of the scale. Academic procrastination in the post-measurement direction. A statistically significant difference was found at the significance level (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group in the post- and follow-up measurements of the academic procrastination scale in favor of the follow-up measurement. While there were no differences between the average ranks of the scores of the experimental group (males - females) in the post-measurement of the academic procrastination scale.
