This Study examines one of the modern dictionaries, the New Student's Dictionary, with a focus on its logical definitions. This dictionary, specifically designed for students at various educational levels, highlights the importance of creating dictionaries that cater to their linguistic needs and assist them in acquiring and comprehending Arabic vocabulary. The use of logical definitions in this dictionary is particularly significant as it aids in clarifying meanings and eliminating ambiguity. This study employs a descriptive analytical approach to identify and analyze instances of logical definitions in the New Student's Dictionary. The aim is to understand how logical definitions are used to clarify meanings. The study coniststs of three parts: the first deals with the real definition, the second investigates terminological definitions, and the third delves into the encyclopedic definition.
