معالجة أسطورة أدونيس عند کل من أوفيديوس وشکسبير: (دراسة مقارنة)

يهدف هذا البحث إلى إظهار تأثير الأدب اللاتينى في الأدب الإنجليزى، وقد اتخذ الباحث من تأثر شکسبير بأوفيديوس عند معالجته لأسطورة أدونيس مثالًا لذلک, والمنهج المتبع فى هذا البحث هو المنهج المقارن لبيان أوجه الإتفاق والاختلاف في معالجة کل من أوفيديوس وشکسبير لأسطورة أدونيس. ولقد طرحنا عدة تساؤلات قبل الخوض في بداية هذا البحث وبينا أجوبتها من خلال شرح الأسطورة عند کل من أوفيديوس وشکسبير.  
يُعد أوفيديوس هو أول من تحدث عن هذه الأسطورة في عمله " التحولات" (Metamorphoses) ليکون أول مصدر لهذه الأسطورة التى نهل منها شعراء وأُدباء من دول شتى, ومن بين هؤلاء الشعراء الشاعر الإنجليزى وليام شکسبير.الذى کتب قصيدة " فينوس وأدونيس"(Venus and Adonis). ومما لاشک فيه أن هناک تطابقًا فى وجهات النظر عند کلا الشاعرين حول معالجة الأسطورة, وأيضًا هناک اختلافًا بينهما, ولقد وضح هذا الاختلاف في بداية الأسطورة بين أوفيديوس وشکسبير, فأوفيديوس تحدث باستفاضة عن مولد أدونيس, وهذا هو الذي صمت عنه شکسبير بل تحدث مباشرة عن غرام فينوس بأدونيس, ومحاولة إغوائه.
توافقت الأسطورتين على طريقة موت أدونيس, ونحيب فينوس عليه, وإنبات زهرة مکان موته ومن دماءه التى سالت على الأرض عُرفت باسم زهرة شقائق النعمان. يضاف إلى ذلک أن الأسطورة حملت بين طياتها العديد من الدلالات والرموز للشخصيتين الأسطوريتين فينوس وأدونيس, وأن کل من أوفيديوس وشکسبير له فکره وله غرض کان يرمز إليه من خلال هذه الأسطورة .
 
Abstract
Addressing the Myth of Adonis in Ovidius and
Shakespeare: A Comparative Study
This research aims to show the influence of Latin literature on English literature, and the researcher has set influence of Shakespeare by Ovidius as an example when dealing with the legend of Adonis. In this research, the comparative approach has been followed to show the aspects of agreement and difference in the treatment of both Ovidius and Shakespeare in relation to the legend of Adonis. Several questions have been raised before going into this research and the answers have been clarified by explaining the legend of both Ovidius and Shakespeare.
In "Metamorphoses", Ovidius has first talked about the myth of Adonis. Having been considered as the first source, the Metamorphoses had inspired many writers and poets from various countries such as William Shakespeare who wrote the poem "Venus and Adonis". There is no doubt that there is a congruence in the views of both poets regarding the treatment of the myth, and also there is a difference between them, and this difference was clarified at the beginning of the myth between Ovidius and Shakespeare. Ovidius has talked extensively about the birth of Adonis whereas Shakespeare  did not mention this and he talked instead about the love relation between Adonis and Venos and her attempt to seducehim.
The two myths coincided with the way Adonis died, and the Venus wail for him, and the germination a flower, out of his blood, in the place of his death, known as the anemone flower. In addition, the myth carried many indications and symbols among the mythical characters of Venus and Adonis, and that both Ovidius and Shakespeare had a particular idea and a purpose that was symbolized by this myth.
